A working cloud foundation in four to six weeks.
A fixed-price, fixed-scope cloud kickstarter. Landing zone, security baseline, monitoring, documentation. Ready for your teams to adopt at the end of week six. AWS or Azure, your call.
Cloud Kickstarter
No diagnosis, no charge.
If after week one of the Cloud Kickstarter you don't have a written architecture decision pack you can defend at your security lead's desk, you can stop the engagement and pay nothing. We've never invoked this clause; we're prepared to.
What's included in the Kickstarter.
- [01]
AWS or Azure landing zone
Identity, network, accounts, baseline policy. Designed against your data residency and audit constraints.
- [02]
Terraform-first foundation
Infrastructure as code from day one. Modules, environments, CI/CD pipelines, documented onboarding paths.
- [03]
Security and policy guardrails
SCPs, Azure Policy, baseline controls, AI-aware guardrails for data egress and model access.
- [04]
Monitoring baseline
Centralised logs, foundational metrics, alerting. The starting point for full observability.
- [05]
Documentation and onboarding
Runbook, onboarding docs, IaC repo, the next ten things to do. Your team owns it from week six.
- [06]
AI-readiness checklist
Identity for service-to-service AI, data egress controls, observability hooks ready for AI workloads.
How the Kickstarter runs.
45-minute audit.
Three questions. We send a written summary either way.
⏱ 45 minReference architecture, 1 week.
We map your constraints to a paved-road template. Documented, costed, signed off by your security lead.
⏱ 1 wkImplementation, 3–5 weeks.
Six engineers. Terraform-first. Weekly written update either way.

→ WHAT SITS UNDERNEATHQuestions we get about the Kickstarter.
[01] Is the price really fixed? +
Yes. Fixed scope, fixed price, fixed timeline. If the scope grows during discovery, we either trim something else or you decide whether to extend. We don't bill change requests inside the fixed scope.
[02] What if we already have a landing zone? +
Then the Kickstarter isn't the right entry point. The Excellence & Benchmarking service is: we assess what's there, decide what stays, and propose a focused remediation.
[03] Can we add managed services after? +
Yes. Roughly half of Kickstarter clients move into a managed engagement once they see how the foundation runs. The Kickstarter is designed to be the start of a longer relationship without being a lock-in.
[04] Does AI-readiness add cost? +
No. It is included by default. We don't think you should pay extra to make your platform safe for AI workloads.
