A cloud and platform engineering company based in the Netherlands.
We help organisations build, operate and improve modern cloud platforms: secure, reliable, AI-ready and adopted by teams. Strategy, implementation and operations in one model.
Six principles that shape every engagement.
- [01]
Engineering-led, not hype-led.
We don't treat AI, cloud or platform engineering as abstract strategy topics. We focus on practical use cases, measurable value, and responsible implementation.
- [02]
Vendor-agnostic.
We work with AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform and other modern cloud-native technologies. We don't push a vendor unless it's the right fit.
- [03]
Secure and compliant by default.
Security, compliance and operational control should not be afterthoughts. We embed guardrails, identity, monitoring, auditability and policy enforcement from day one.
- [04]
Built for long-term ownership.
We design cloud platforms with lifecycle, operational support, documentation, security and cost control in mind from the start. No one-off implementations that become next year's debt.
- [05]
Platform thinking first.
AI works best inside a broader engineering ecosystem. We connect AI enablement with cloud platforms, CI/CD, observability, documentation and team workflows.
- [06]
Knowledge transfer is included.
We don't want clients to become dependent on us. We help internal teams grow through coaching, workshops, certification paths and practical knowledge sharing.
Teams we've shipped foundations for.
[12+] CLIENTS
Questions about Altitudes.
[01] How big is the team? +
Small and deliberately so. Twelve engineers, all senior, all ex-platform-lead. We work with eight clients at a time; when we're full, we say so.
[02] Who exactly works on the engagement? +
Six engineers, named, with public engineering profiles. We tell you who before the engagement starts and we don't rotate them mid-project.
[03] Where are you based? +
Amsterdam and Rotterdam. We work hybrid: paired pairing remote, one onsite day per week or fortnight at the client.
[04] Do you have investors? +
No. No external investors. No exit pressure.
